Its been a long time that we are relying our source of energy in electric company. Many electric companies doesn’t care about the effects in our environment.

Now is the right time to divert this kind of source of energy. One can greatly benefit when we use solar energy as our source of electricity. I have visited a blog site that explained advantages of solar energy and it is good for those who doesn’t know yet.

I’m from the UK. The Government introduced Feed -in Tariff on 1st of April 2010. Under this scheme the UK energy suppliers make payments to householders who generate their own electricity from renewable sources such as PV panels and wind turbines. The generation tariff is a set rate paid: retro fit 41.3p (p/kwh) and new build 36.1p (p/kwh)by the energy supplier for each unit( or KWh) of electricity you generate. You will continue on this tariff for 25 years in the case of solar electricity. You can also receive a further 3p/KWH from your energy supplier for each unit you export back to the electricity grid.

I absolutely agree that converting your home to solar power is an awesome way to save money, and is very ecologically responsible. There are even many power companies that will buy back unused power from you. Imagine your electricity meter spinning in reverse! With the cost of power now days, that’s no joke.
